Healing from Light Wounds
The sports star had been under observation while recuperating from non-critical injuries, representatives stated earlier on Monday. A government official, Gbenga Omotoso, confirmed in an update on X that Joshua was judged healthy enough to “recuperate at home”.
“The boxer and his mother were at the mortuary in Lagos this afternoon to offer their condolences to his two deceased friends as they were being made ready for the journey back,” the official remarked.
A Tribute to the Fallen
Those who lost their lives were named as Latif Ayodele, Joshua's trainer, and Sina Ghami, a performance coach. Omotoso added that the champion was filled with sorrow and deeply emotional over the passing of his two trusted companions.”
This update on his health arrives after the global fight fans had expressed sympathy for the champion in the wake of the heartbreaking incident.
